Shankara Buildpro, a platinum dealer of Jaquar, recorded a fast-paced growth for the Jaquar range of products for the last financial year. Jaquar is celebrating 60 years of manufacturing excellence as a complete bathroom solutions provider. In the annual meet held on 22nd July 2019 in New Delhi, Shankara bagged 4 awards in the sanitaryware, shower enclosure and water heaters category. Shankara Buildpro continues to strive to promote best in class products to its customers across India.

Construction Architecture Interior Design(CAI) event expo held at Chennai between 14th to 16th September 2018. Shankara were the Co-Sponsors for the event. The event was held at Chennai Trade Centre and was visited by more than 6000 people. The event also witnessed a lot of Industry experts, Architects, Contractors, Plumbers, Electricians and many more attending the event.

Shankara had set up a stall at the event consisting of a display of various category products for Construction and Interiors. The stall enhance was decked with a display of Decorative Lights, Electricals, Tiles and Sanitaryware and other construction related materials. The event was promoted across multiple channels including Print ads, Radio Channels and other regional media. Our acquisition Vaigai Sanitation was showcased at the event.

Our stall received a good response with over hundreds of customers visiting the stall across the 3 days. Our entire range of associated brands were showcased at the event. There were customers who were very much interested with the range of products we had on display and also insisted on making a on spot purchase at the stall. The response received for the event is enormous and the credit goes to the entire Chennai Shankara Team for putting in all the efforts day in day out in making the event a grand success.

Shankara Buildpro is undertaking a focused customer outreach program. It is reaching the customers through a number of modes.

Key customers like architects and interior designers are being proactively met. To build brand awareness, newspaper inserts have started on a consistent basis in many locations. Its “feet-on-street” has been further strengthened with direct involvement of senior executives in the process. Digital marketing through targeted mediums is being executed. Kiosk activities in housing colonies and gated communities is being strengthened.

Shankara Buildpro conducted Plumbers and Contractors Meet across its various stores in Bengaluru. It was a meeting held to showcase the wide range of products it has on offer. The meetings were held in coordination with its leading partner brands across categories of TMT, Cement, Sanitaryware, Tiles, Electricals, Plumbing etc.

The Build with Buildpro scheme was also explained to the customers and the benefits accruing out of that. The meetings help build a stronger connect with the customers. Shankara Buildpro also felicitated some of its loyal customers in these meets. It also provides an opportunity for the partner brands to reach out directly to these customers explaining the advantages of their products.

There have been 31 meets held in the last three months. Through this we have been able to reach 1000 prospective customers. The number of participating brands were 20.

Shankara Buildpro launched its first Jaquar Display Showroom (JDS) in Bengaluru in its Veerasandra retail store. The inauguration was attended by over 80 customers as well as the senior executives from Jaquar and Shankara. This launch further enhances the product offerings of Shankara for its customers.

Jaquar Display Showrooms carry the entire range of Jaquar products. All new product launches are made available in these showrooms on a priority basis. The details of these showrooms are carried on all marketing initiatives of the Jaquar brand. Customers are also proactively referred which increases traffic to these showrooms. Preferential availability of products increases service levels and conversions

A JDS is a prestigious addition to the Shankara network as it looks forward to strengthen this relationship across regions.

Shankara Buildpro has upgraded its retail store in Vengali, Calicut. This upgrades adds to the range of products that Shankara Buildpro can now offer its customers. The first stage of the upgrade includes categories like taps & faucets, sanitaryware and tiles. This is in addition to the traditional product categories of fabrication and basic construction material already being sold through the store.

Prestigious brands like Jaquar, Cera, Somany, Johnson, Exxaro among a number of local brands have been displayed.

The opening ceremony saw good response. Over 25 customers and contractors attended the event. Local area activation activities also resulted in end customer walk-ins to the store. Senior executives of participating brands also attended the event.

Vengali is an owned store. The store has now been custom built to suit our purposes. The frontage of the store bears a modern look. It is a proud addition to the Shankara Buildpro chain of retail stores
